This program will look at the impact of the Middle Class Tax Relief Act of 2010, which Congress passed and the President signed on December 17, 2010, on estate planners and their clients. Among the topics to be discussed are planning with a $5 million exemption, how the reunification of the estate and gift taxes affects clients, the challenges of portability, and how to and not to do GST planning.
